It doesn’t take a lot of time and it’s a great way to get to know your neighbors.

Treasurer: Barry Doyle has served us well for 5 years and for that we are very appreciative.  Good news is that Barry is staying in the neighborhood, so he can help the new treasurer out with an easy transition and be available to help with any questions that come up.  The treasurer is responsible for our books, keeps the checkbook current and oversees the annual collection of dues.  Not a tough job for someone who likes numbers:

Block Captains: We are always looking for Area Block Captains.  Block captains are the liaisons between the Civic Association and the individual households.  There are 8 Areas in Pine Spring.  When we have newsletters to deliver, we ask BCs to deliver to the 20 or so houses in the area.  Likewise, when we have either the dues or sanitation workers holiday gift collections, BCs will be the ones knocking on your doors.  Presently, we need someone to represent Area 5, which included houses in mid-Pine Spring Road to Willow Lane, including Seone Ct.  Please refer to the following link for more information about Areas and Block Captains in Pine Spring: http://www.pinespringva.org/officers-and-block-captains/.

Michael Wing has been gracious enough to set this meeting up for our community and please let me know if you will be attending this meeting and also please submit any questions to me before next Wednesday so I can forward them to Vince and Greg Forte just so they have can be prepared for the meeting!
